I know it has been a little while since I last posted but Kenny convinced me to post something up on my Xanga. Things are going great with work and I can say refreshing with my new line of life. However, I need to bring up a topic that is on my mind at the moment. I've been working so hard just trying to build a solid strong business and of course trying to make the big bucks. At first, my whole motive was to make big bucks and live a MTV “bling life” but things had shifted through out the process of working. I noticed that I had been striving for something that is nearly impossible to live. I don’t have a record deal nor do I have the basketball skills to go pro so who am I fooling. But the MTV generation that I am in just caused the generations of Americans to want to live the “bling” life. I enjoy watching Cribs, as I enjoy hanging out with friends. There has always been an interest in "lifestyles of the rich and famous" and there always will be. The difference is that living that "lifestyle" has become more "attainable" through plastic credit cards.  Back long ago people would have to save money for years to get what they wished, and get it. However, the people in the Y generation like me are just building debt upon debt to live the trendy life style. I so happened came across this advertisement on the radio where you can lease or finance wheels for your car. How pathetic is that, if you can’t afford it then just don’t buy it. I’m not trying to be a jerk or anything but these are the people who are complaining about rich people. They can actually afford to pay cash for their goods, and not finance over a long period of time. Debt is what happens when people try to live a life they cannot afford today. Everybody wants to live like a millionaire, but does anybody really want to do the work, or wait the time it takes to really be able to afford these things? Why wait until tomorrow, when you can finance today? These are the niggas that are fucking up their opportunity to make it big one day. I guess the way I was raised, is that you buy all of the nice luxury things after you have taken care of the "important things" for example, savings, insurance, investments, and risk management,  I know that isn't popular, doesn't make for great television, but it makes for a responsible member of society. Don't get me wrong, I like all that cool stuff; I just don't think it is prudent to go into high levels of debt to put on a show or live a lifestyle beyond your means. I am by no means perfect; I am guilty to splurge on stupid shit sometimes but I am learning to stop.

Two months of sunny California summer break had gone by and everything I had promised myself have gone to waste.  I asked myself why, am I being lazy or it’s just a dead end vision that I have. I have plenty of desires but none had been accomplished due to my indolent. However, being more relaxed and habitually laziness have brought the fun out of me.  The past few weeks have gone great, with so many friends turning twenty one. It has been none stop drinking for us.  At the same time, it is building the extra evil calories storing right at the root of your stomach which is leading to a chain of beer bellies in the group.  With so much amusement and emotion being crunked out, it brings out the best of us by not being so reserved.  Although with all this fun, I feel that I have not accomplish anything at all. Therefore, it makes me wonder, what I am going to do or am I being to harsh on myself. Well this post was out of the blue, but HEY, who knows, I might come back from Avril’s concert in Vegas this week and post another one. enjoy

I just took a quiz and here are my results

Your view on yourself:

You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:

You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

You prefer to get to know a person very well before deciding whether you will commit to the relationship.

The seriousness of your love:

You are very serious about relationships and aren't interested in wasting time with people you don't really like. If you meet the right person, you will fall deeply and beautifully in love.

Your views on education

Education is less important than the real world out there, away from the classroom. Deep inside you want to start working, earning money and living on your own.

The right job for you:

You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.

How do you view success:

Success in your career is not the most important thing in life. You are content with what you have and think that being with someone you love is more than spending all of your precious time just working.

What are you most afraid of:

You are afraid of things that you cannot control. Sometimes you show your anger to cover up how you feel.

Who is your true self:

You are full of energy and confidence. You are unpredictable, with moods changing as quickly as an ocean. You might occasionally be calm and still, but never for long.
